4-Hour Body: 1 Month Report
4-Hour Body August 8th, 2007It’s been just over a month since I started the diet and exercise plan Tim outlines on the 4HWW site. Unfortunately I didn’t get my body fat percentage tested before hand, so I can’t give as detailed a reports as I’d like. However, I have lost 18 pounds and I lift more weight than when I started, so I think I can safely assume that I’ve gained a wee bit o’ muscle and lost at least some fat.
In addition to the foods Tim mentions, here are some of my favorites:
- Turkey chili from Trader Joe’s
- Garlic & lime chicken burgers, also from Trader Joe’s
- Baked fish of all varieties
- Tasty Bite Madras Lentils
- Dannon “Light n’ Fit” yogurt mixed w/ fat free cottage cheese
That last one might technically be a bit of a cheat- I dunno. But it is low-calorie, very filling, and super tasty.
For supplements, I have been taking Policosinal, ChromeMate, and Slo-Niacin at night, and a simple multi-vitamin in the morning.
My plan is to keep the diet strict until my 30th birthday next month. At that point I’ll probably start eating a few more carbs, such as oatmeal or cracked wheat for breakfast. Otherwise I plan on trying to stay with the basic idea indefinitely.
